LHH is assisting a law firm in Houston seek an Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation Specialist . This can be a hybrid role . Benefits :
- Salary ranges from $80,000 - $100,000 DOE
- Hybrid role currently with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Requirements :
3+ years of relatable experienceMust bill 450 hours / yearKnowledge of specific Intellectual Property rules and procedures , as well as keeps abreast of department guidelinesResponsible for maintaining secondary docket and case and file management , including uploading email communications and documents to docketing and DMS systems, as well as, maintaining and updating files and client portals and attending any status meetingsEffectively set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects, including preparation and maintenance of internal docket reports, charts, and to-do listsAbility to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task (i.e. calendaring, meeting coordination, timesheet entries, travel plans, file openings)Create, edit, format, and proofread documents, memoranda, correspondence, spreadsheets and presentations with the highest level of accuracy and attention to detailProficient in IP Docketing System, inTapp Time Entry, Chrome River, iManage, Adobe and Microsoft programs Word, Excel and OutlookAnnually complete eight (8) hours of continued technical education through the firm's training department, including, but not limited to, the IP Department specific training.Employees approved for flexible work arrangements are expected to be available and maintain a practice of reliable, consistent attendance at all times during the employees scheduled work shift including, but not limited to, Zoom, email and voicemail, and by phone.Non-Billable Duties
Coordination of Client Estimates and Accruals , as well as invoicing processMaintain and update files, including file openings and conflict checks in IntappMay assist with drafting engagement letter sMay assist with intake activitiesResponsible for scheduling and coordinating travel arrangements (Attorney travel)Responsible for overseeing invoice payments / expenses / reimbursements (Chrome River)Billable Duties
Litigation
Coordinate project files, including drafting internal and external communications related to ongoing litigation tasksDraft and transmit legal documents, memoranda, and correspondence to clients, witnesses and court officials by electronic filing, fax, email, mail and / or messengerAssist in setting up review databases and archiving data as neededAnalyze and generate reports from data, ensuring accurate and efficient data handlingDraft basic search queries and collaborate with attorneys to identify relevant documentsConduct thorough Quality Checks (QC) on document productions to ensure accuracyAssist with calculating and managing litigation timelinesPotential travel for assistance at depositions, mediations and trialsIf you meet the requirements and can perform the duties, please apply or contact me directly at jamie.stone@lhh.com
