Job Description
Reporting directly into the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for the following :
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational productivity and quality.
- Supervise, mentor, and train Project Managers and Engineers to ensure timely, accurate project execution.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration across all departments and with customers and vendors.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with company quality systems and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Molding, and Assembly to implement best practices and improvements.
- Review and support design development for gauges, fixtures, and jigs, and assist in equipment selection and facility upgrades.
- Participate in quality audits, Material Review Board activities, and corrective action processes to uphold high standards.
- Lead and support projects aligned with company goals, including budgeting and performance reporting.
- Train personnel in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to build organizational capability.
- Manage documentation control throughout project development and resolve operational issues at all organizational levels.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Engineering Manager should have :
A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experienceAt least 5 years of proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.Strong knowledge of project management and Lean Manufacturing.Experience with injection molding highly preferred.Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.What's on Offer
