Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Care Coordinator to join our team. The Care Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling care givers for our clients, ensuring that all staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Coordinate and schedule care givers for client care needs.
- Communicate with clients and their families to assess and understand care requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records and client information in our database.
- Monitor care giver availability and make adjustments to schedules as necessary.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Collaborate with management to identify staffing / recruiting needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and care givers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Generate reports related to scheduling and staffing metrics as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in scheduling preferably in the home care industry.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in using scheduling software (preferably WellSky) and Microsoft OfficeAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of the Kansas home care regulations is a plus.This position will require an on-call rotation and flexibility in hours to meet client needs.An office-based role, with potential to work from home on occasion.Benefits
