As an HR Generalist, youll be the go-to resource for employees and managersproviding guidance, resolving issues, and helping our teams thrive. Youll work closely with HR Managers and business leaders to support everything from employee relations and performance management to benefits and compliance.
What Youll Do
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for HR-related questions, concerns, and support.
- Lead employee relations investigations and help foster a respectful, inclusive work environment.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Support performance management cycles, including goal setting and development planning.
- Educate employees on benefits and assist with enrollment and inquiries.
- Track and maintain compliance with training, policies, and employment laws.
- Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and coordinate learning initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement through recognition programs and cultural initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR records and process employment verifications.
- Provide translation assistance (English / Spanish) as needed.
- Travel to support area locations and build strong relationships with teams.
What You Bring
Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)35 years of HR experience (construction industry preferred)Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)Strong knowledge of HR laws, best practices, and complianceExcellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple prioritiesWhat We Offer
