About the Role
The organization is actively seeking a dynamic Vice President of Global Marketing & Communications. In this influential position, you will lead the vision and execution of comprehensive marketing and communications strategies that align with our mission and values. We need a strategic thinker who excels in hands-on execution, ensuring that our brand, messaging, and strategies are consistently represented across all channels, regions, and stakeholder interactions.
As the Vice President, you will oversee a unified global marketing and communications team while collaborating with regional offices and working closely with development and fundraising teams to enhance our impact. Ideal candidates will have at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, communications, or media, preferably within globally-focused mission-driven organizations. Expertise in integrated marketing strategy, content development, digital ecosystems, and brand governance is essential.
This role requires a mission-driven leader, passionate about enhancing global health outcomes and committed to equity, inclusion, and ethical storytelling. Key competencies include collaboration, adaptability, resourcefulness, and the ability to inspire and mobilize teams. You must be willing to work across different time zones and travel internationally as needed, with approximately 20% travel expected.
