CNC Operator Mill / Lathe

The CNC Operator will manage computer numeric controlled (CNC) mill and / or lathe equipment from setup to operation, producing parts and tools from various materials. This role involves monitoring machinery, inspecting finished products, and conducting test runs to ensure quality and precision.

Responsibilities

Perform offsets and change inserts during operation.

Operate CNC machines according to company guidelines and specifications.

Monitor machines during operation, making adjustments as needed for optimal results.

Inspect and check machinery daily to ensure functionality and safety.

Record machine activity in production and quality logs.

Communicate and resolve logistics issues during the production process.

Ensure all finished products meet client specifications and quality standards.

Conduct regular assessments of CNC machinery.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

2-3 years of experience as a CNC Mill and / or Lathe Operator preferred.

Experience with Fanuc, Fadal, Haas, or OSP controls strongly preferred.

Ability to perform basic mill and / or lathe setups.

Proficient in reading blueprints and using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

Forklift experience is a plus.

Strong computer and mathematical skills.

Excellent attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.

Strong analytical and comprehension skills.

Must adhere to a smoke-free and phone-free environment (except during breaks / lunch).
