MOBILE PACKING ASSISTANT

Warehouse And Transportation Supervisor

Under the supervisor of the Manager of Warehouse and Transportation, assumes responsibility for ensuring that all mobiles have the required materials, supplies and equipment. Serves as a resource for Mobile Unit Operators for daily packing and acquisition of materials for successful operations. Promotes positive image of CBC to the community.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions :

• Competently performs all tasks required by Mobile Unit Operators.
• Maintains equipment required for mobiles to include tracking, packing and unpacking, maintenance, storage and applicable Quality Control (QC).
• Ensures all needed supplies are packed and ready for use.
• Assists with loading, unloading and set-up of mobile equipment and supplies.
• Ensures an adequate number and type of vehicles are assigned.
• Performs monthly QC of equipment in conjunction with Mobile Packing Supervisor.
• Obtains various reports from the computer.
• Complies with all applicable safety policies and procedures.
• Compliance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) regarding calibration of equipment.
• Orders, receives, inspects and records critical supplies.
• Maintains confidentiality of personal information regarding donors and staff.
• Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
• Must be able to confidently communicate and interpret intermediate information in English to all members of the public and CBC staff.
• Must have and maintain a valid MO Class E Driver's License or KS Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Heavy lifting required
