Job Description
Flowtec is partnered with a reputable General Contractor, that has been in business for 50+ years. They offer design / build, construction management and self-perform services.
Due to business growth, they seek an experienced Project Scheduler that will report to the Vice President of Operations. The Construction Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules across multiple construction projects. This role will work closely with project managers, superintendents, and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and alignment with client expectations. The Scheduler plays a critical role in forecasting, risk management, and ensuring that project milestones are met.
Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore).
- Work with project teams to establish baselines, critical paths, milestones, and resource allocations.
- Monitor schedule progress and provide regular updates to project managers, executives, and clients.
- Conduct schedule analysis to identify potential risks, delays, or conflicts and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports including schedule variance, recovery plans, and forecasted completion dates.
- Collaborate with estimators and project managers during preconstruction to integrate schedules with bid packages and project logistics.
- Ensure schedules are compliant with contract requirements and client expectations.
- Facilitate coordination meetings with field teams, subcontractors, and owners to communicate scheduling requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).4+ years of experience in construction scheduling within a general contracting or construction management environment.Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Procore.Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and resource planning.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Experience with design-build, lump sum, and GMP delivery methods is a plus.Benefit Information
