The Senior Director, Program Management Office (PMO), R&D for MDS is a pivotal member of the MDS R&D leadership team and a key driver of cross-functional program execution for the MDS business.

The Senior Director of PMO will lead a multifaceted organization comprising project and program managers from various product platforms and significantly influence the direction of virtually all product platforms and projects within the MDS organization. This role involves close collaboration with commercial colleagues to develop innovative products that solidify the company's market-leading position and expand into adjacent areas to serve customers more broadly while driving for sustaining excellence of existing portfolio.

Working with Business Leaders, Functional Leaders, and other R&D Leaders, this role ensures smooth integration of business and technologies. This leader is hands-on when required and skilled in evaluating and developing strong leaders aligned with strategic goals.

Focus areas :

• Excellence in Execution : Drive standard processes and optimize the R&D portfolio from innovation through product lifecycle management.
• Standardized Best Practices Deployment : Implement and maintain standard methodologies.
• R&D Portfolio Optimization : Optimize investments in the R&D portfolio to drive efficiency and ensure delivery of MDS goals.
• Development of PMO Associates : Foster a strong foundation and commitment to continuous improvement and development of the PMO team.
