Description

Flare tube extensions assemble return bends and various copper hookup components into coils and join these with brazing rod using oxygen-acetylene torch. Braze sub-assemblies using various rods and / or braze return bends, headers and subassemblies to coil using coil print. This position requires the ability to prepare coils for brazing, braze coil with various type rods, able to make own setups and braze any coil that comes thru the department and read blueprints and use simple arithmetic Sub Brazer : This person will be responsible for assembly and brazing of headers and manifold components. Braze sub-assemblies using various rods and / or braze return bends, headers and subassemblies to coil using coil print. Monitor inventory levels of headers and manifold sub-assemblies.

• Braze components using braze torch & braze rod BCUP 5 and Stay-Silv Brazing Flux
• Experience in brazing 180 & 360 degree with braze torch
• Should be able to braze brass fittings to copper
• Able to use various different hand tools
• Read blueprints and use simple arithmetic

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.53 - $26.14 / hr.
