Subcontract Management Staff
You will be the Subcontract Management Staff for the THAAD Global Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for managing subcontracts and ensuring the timely delivery of quality products to our customers, supporting the THAAD program's production and development efforts.
As the Subcontract Management Staff, you will be responsible for leading an aggressive capacity effort across multiple suppliers and locations to achieve desired production rates on time or ahead of schedule. You will serve as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers, driving communication and collaboration to deliver results. Your responsibilities will include :
- Leading capacity efforts across multiple suppliers and locations
- Communicating customer concerns and expediting capacity schedules
- Tracking overall program status and ensuring timely delivery of quality products
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results

This position is in Dallas. Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education8+ years of professional experiencePrevious professional experience leading negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost and schedule objectives are captured in contractual commitmentsPrevious professional experience with the procurement and management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipmentKnowledge of standard acquisition policies and proceduresDesired Skills :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Master's degreeExperience managing supplier capacity effortsExperience managing cost type subcontractsKnowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting typesIn depth knowledge of all types of contracts and how to utilize which type in various program scenariosDemonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlinesExperience with long-form subcontracts utilizing Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)Aerospace program negotiation skills and experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressureExperienced presenter to Program Management and Customer representativeSelf Motivated with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks / assignmentsStrong communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of managementAbility to be flexible and accept changeMust be able to resolve complex problems in a fast-paced environmentProficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in dynamic work environment; ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions by exercising sound problem solving skillsSecurity Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
