Job Description

We’re looking for Accounts Payable Clerks who are excited to support our finance team in ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely processing of payables. In this role, you’ll get to match invoices and purchase orders, respond to vendor and employee inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and enter invoices for check generation. You’ll also assist with general ledger accounting and provide clerical support to the Controller.

Key Responsibilities

Compile and review accounts payable documents

Match invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports

Verify computational accuracy and prepare checks

Enter accounts payable invoices for payment processing

Respond to employee and vendor inquiries

Resolve account discrepancies

Support Controller with general ledger accounting tasks

Provide clerical support as needed

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with our finance and administrative teams to deliver accurate, mission-focused financial services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

College-level accounting coursework or equivalent work experience preferred

One year of accounts payable experience desired

Typing : 30 net WPM

Ability to pass spelling test (90% or better)

Must pass 10-key test with no more than 3 errors

Familiarity with PC software including Windows and Excel

Demonstrated ability to work independently
