Job Training Coordinator
We are an inner city ministry that lives and works in the neighborhoods we serve. Our mission exists to build relationships with our neighbors and share hope in brokenness. We target neighborhoods that are underserved. We have a staff size of about 70 where we have after school programs, sports performance center, hospitality home, men and women transitional homes, two coffee shops, equine therapy center, and other forms of ministry to love our neighbors.
The role of a Job Training Coordinator involves overseeing training programs for students. It involves communicating with partners and directors to ensure that programs are running smoothly.
Current programs responsible for :
- LPH teaching kitchen
- McPherson teaching kitchen
- CPS job training / Project Life
- Hamilton county youth work program
- Partnership with Sustainergy
- Partnership with Willow boutique
- Partnership with daycare catering
Responsibilities :
Assist in implementation of job sites to studentsRecruit new schools and programsCommunicate with partners to maintain relationships and identify training opportunitiesMap out and create development plans for programs and individualsMarket and recruit job training opportunitiesUpdate grants and collaborate with directors on budgetsGather feedback and data on job training in the database system and create reports quarterlyIdentify partners that fit us and align with our missionTrack students progress and follow through on job placement after graduationCreate trainings for all directorsRequirements :
Experience with networking a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple training programs simultaneouslyAbility to work effectively with a wide range of people, including trainees, trainers, and organizational leadershipAbility to address challenges or obstacles that arise during the training process.
