Maintenance Planner

Maintenance Planner – Saint-Gobain / CertainTeed

This role plans and manages production maintenance activities to support a continuous, high-availability process environment. The planner coordinates work orders, preventive schedules, and performance KPIs for the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plan maintenance department, service company, and contractor activities.
• Verify work orders, gather information, and define scope of work.
• Plan equipment downtime, man-hour requirements, tool and part requirements while adhering to safety procedures, technical specifications, and best-practice guidelines using CMMS.
• Maintain a strong focus on availability and uptime of the production machines.
• Assist with project scheduling for special projects as well as routine maintenance shutdowns.
• Supervise maintenance and other employees as required.
