Position : Electrical Superintendent Hyperscale Data Center

Location : Indianapolis, IN (On-Site)

Company : Top 25 General Contractor

A top-tier general contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee the electrical scope on a multi-year hyperscale data center project in Indianapolis. This is a mission-critical role responsible for leading field execution of complex power and low-voltage systems in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage on-site electrical construction from rough-in to commissioning
  • Supervise subcontractors, foremen, and field crews to ensure safety, quality, and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, project specs, and hyperscale client standards
  • Collaborate with MEP coordinators, commissioning agents, and project management
  • Monitor progress, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate field documentation
  • Support commissioning efforts, startup, and final turnover

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 810+ years of electrical construction experience, with at least 35 years in data centers or mission-critical environments
  • Proven ability to lead large field crews on high-value, high-complexity projects
  • Strong understanding of critical power systems, grounding, testing, and QA / QC protocols
  • Skilled in coordinating with general trades, engineering teams, and safety personnel
  • Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and project scheduling tools

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • Experience with hyperscale clients such as AWS, Meta, Google, or Microsoft
  • Able to work on-site in Indianapolis full-time for the duration of the project
