job_description.job_card.job_descriptionEnrolled in a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Finance (in progress) or a similar degree. Minimum Junior status. Knowledge of accounting and / or finance principles. Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and reports) and PowerPoint skills. Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Must be organized with the ability to work accurately in a time efficient manner. Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to participate in a summer internship program of 10 weeks (June to August). You must reside in Dallas, TX during the internship and work onsite. Salary - $20 / hr for 40 hour week / 10 weeks.
Accounting Intern

We are currently offering an opportunity for an Accounting Intern to support our Accounting operations team overseeing our Hotel Property portfolio. This 10-week immersive program is designed to provide hands-on experience in a variety of accounting functions, allowing you to learn about the hospitality industry while working in a fun and fast-paced environment.
This position is based from our corporate offices in Irving, TX.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Accounting team in a 10-week internship program and gain exposure to core accounting functions and processes.
- Provide support to Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Month-End Close, Data Analysis, Financial Statement preparation and more.
- Assist with various projects as needed.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
