What You Will Do

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Powerplant Engineering Senior Manager role on a high-visibility F135 Sustainment Integrated Fleet Support team that executes forecasting, powerplant engineering, and shop visit strategy. The PPE Senior Manager role implements functional depot-level maintenance planning for the F135 Enterprise and is expected to be a key leader in integrated program reform initiatives that reduce shop visit material cost at the file order level.

• Drive digital solutions to grow efficiencies & quality in tactical execution of workscoping on file orders
• Drive cross-functional awareness with respect to emerging hardware issues as surfaced by file orders
• Lead a team of 8 Powerplant Engineers
• Manage technical problems of advanced complexity that require resolution via coordination across the F135 Enterprise, such as decisions about stub-time inventory; material availability; and shop visit cost.
• Drive reduction of non-preventable file order revisions via cross-functional collaboration across the F135 Enterprise
• Partner with Depot Program Management to establish strong relationships with F135 Propulsion Service Providers to ensure compliance and alignment with the F135 Engine Maintenance Plan
• Lead Continuous Improvement (CORE) key process maturity and improvement efforts at the enterprise level (e.g. workscoping for life-limited parts; ECU; stub-time decisions)
• Travel 10% (Domestic & International)

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
