What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or prohibited items.Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency responders as needed in accordance with site protocols.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors.Follow all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements related to armed posts and government locations.What We're Looking For :

Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent program.Possess an armed guard card or license as required for the position.Possess a college degree.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.Be at least 21 years of age.Possess a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Hold a corrections officer license.Provide one of the following : a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
