The Automation \ Controls Engineer will join a growing team of IT, Engineering and Health & Safety professionals helping our customers reduce their work-related risk to quality, productivity and employee health. The Automation \ Controls Engineer will be working with on projects in automotive manufacturing facilities to help implement the systems of tomorrow. While this position will be based out of Metropolitan Detroit, there may be travel to automotive manufacturing facilities across North America.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to support the setup of IPC hardware and Node-RED plant floor data flow standards as required to support next generation IT systems
• Verify and validate accurate data flow from each device
• Coordinate with plant resources to schedule and execute tasks
• Track and report out on progress
• Occasional travel as may be required to facilities in the US and across North America
• Off-shift and weekend work may be required at times
