Responsibilities
Provide specialized expertise in human resources functional areas and generalist support for the Camarillo business unit as the sole HR professional for this site without direct reports.Propose and initiate projects and programs; anticipate and prepare the organization for change; serve as a business partner to assess and implement organizational development and change that supports key business objectives.Increases employee commitment and maintains positive employee relations; coach employees, facilitate discussions, and promote a participative, inclusive workplace. Develop programs to improve morale and communication.Conduct organization-wide training needs assessments; may be certified trainer; promote learning and ensure compliance with quality / supplier standards (e.g., ISO9000).Support staffing and succession planning; advise on staffing, organizational restructuring, and outsourcing; may involve international assignments.Communicate and train on company policies; interpret and ensure compliance with laws; maintain confidentiality and conduct internal investigations as required.Advise on compensation planning; develop recommendations on competitiveness and equity; participate in external compensation audits as needed.Develop training on compensation, career development, and performance management; monitor compensation trends and recommend program changes.Administer and promote employee benefits and wellness programs; participate in health, safety, and related committees as appropriate.Improve HR administrative processes through continuous improvement; lead ad hoc teams to streamline information needs and procedures.Analyze data to recommend personnel actions and prepare reports for leadership and regulatory requirements.Maintain confidentiality; handle sensitive inquiries and represent the company in regulatory matters as required.Stay current on legislation; advise management on actions to reduce liability; maintain professional knowledge through education and networks.May provide leadership to others in the department and contribute to project goals; mentor less experienced team members.Share specialized knowledge and contribute to project success.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (required) in Human Resources, Business, or related field, with six or more years of related experience demonstrating both theory and practice.Thorough knowledge of HR principles, legal / regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.Practical knowledge of financial and continuous improvement measurements.Strong problem-solving, project management, and multi-team coordination abilities.Effective communication and presentation skills; ability to train and develop others.Experience with HRIS and standard business software; ability to analyze and report data.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle complex employee relations issues with diplomacy.Compensation
Pay Range : $104,000 to $174,000 annually (California).Participation in Annual Incentive Program.Other Details
