Southern California News Group is seeking a Digital, Account Strategist to join our team! The Digital, Account Strategist is responsible for driving new business revenue for our in-house creative and content marketing division called Skyline Studio. Providing a high-level of client service support & relationship with partners.

This is a remote role (San Diego, Orange County, or Los Angeles residents only; on-site presence required for sales meetings and client events).

What you will do :

• Source digital media, creative services, experiential, and influencer marketing revenue opportunities
• Prospect for new clients and support existing clients with performance reports and recaps on a as needed basis
• Provide profitable advertising solutions, strategies and recommendations to clients
• Build effective proposals, assist or lead sales pitch and presentations
• Interpret and analyze digital marketing efforts during the pre-sale process, compile data to help the close of the business
• Manage the day-to-day execution of large / major ongoing advertising accounts and campaigns to meet client's objectives
• Monitor campaign effectiveness and make recommendations to customers that result in effective advertiser solutions
• Liaise with content, creative services, sales, and analytics regarding planning and prioritizing to assist in execution of the campaigns
• Cultivate positive professional relationships with clients, vendors and internal teams
• Be part of the sales and digital operations process, and assist in sales and customer service efforts; providing excellent sales, service, and marketing support is critical to our digital competitive position
• Oversee day to day operations in the department including campaign trafficking, delivery, optimization, inventory forecasting, analysis, and reporting to all supporting internal and external customers

What you will bring :

Benefits and Compensation : The salary range is $75,000 - $85,000. This position is eligible for incentive compensation (commission), cell phone, and mileage reimbursement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers eligible employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, as well as paid time off and select paid holidays (all benefits are based on eligibility).
