You will be joining Wabtec, as a qualified Cost Accountant I, on our Finance Team. You will work with our Wabtec Bus Solutions Cost Accountant Manager performing daily cost maintenance in the EPR system, generating various inventory reports, assisting with month-end close activities and account reconciliation tasks, and supporting yearly Standards updates and other related activities.

As an entry-level cost accountant within Wabtec Bus Solutions, you will support the business in costing, have excellent organizational and analytical skills while being detail oriented, knowledgeable on operations and identifying problems working under tight deadlines. This will help the company contain costs, identify areas needed for review. This role is critical for the success of the financial processes with regard to inventory, sourcing and cost structure.

We would like to know if you meet the following criteria :

• Bachelor's Degree (B. S.). Two to four years related cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with ERP cost accounting (experience with Oracle is preferred) reporting systems. Advanced user of MS Excel, including pivot tables, lookup tables, etc. Experience in using Power BI and OneStream applications is helpful.

The salary range for this role is between $60,700.00-$83,400.00. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as : training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
