Senior Accountant

Our client in the government contracting and manufacturing space is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with strong ERP knowledge to support a growing finance department.

Location : Fully onsite in McLean, VA

Compensation : $43 $50 / Hour (based on experience)

Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Duration : 3+ months (with possible extension)

Responsibilities :

• Manage all aspects of inventory accounting
• Perform month-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with financial analysis and reporting as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
