Job Description : The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role supports the preparation of financial statements, reports, and reconciliations, while upholding the integrity of the general ledger and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Record and reconcile financial transactions in the general ledger
• Prepare and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis
• Analyze costs, revenues, and financial commitments to support forecasting and budgeting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Utilize accounting software and Excel to manage and analyze financial data
• May guide or review the work of junior staff
