We’re seeking a Staff Accountant who is :

What You’ll Do
Analyze, review, and reconcile general ledger and internal bank accounts daily.Process vendor payments, employee expense reimbursements, and corporate card statements.Process incoming and outgoing wire transactions.Assist in month-end close procedures, including posting journal entries, accruals, and producing financial reports.Document, test, and maintain internal department procedures.Identify and implement process improvements for existing procedures.Support credit union projects, goals, and initiatives as needed.Provide backup support to other accounting staff and management.What You Bring
College degree or post-secondary courses in accounting preferred.Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar role.Experience performing clerical office work.Record of high achievement in business, education, or extracurricular activities.Ability to use a personal computer; proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software preferred.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving and math abilities.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.Demonstrated competencies in teamwork, goal orientation, personal accountability, flexibility, self-starting, and appreciating others.Work Environment
This is a hybrid position, requiring two days per week in-office.
