Overview
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a sector strategist with deep expertise in healthcare, aviation, or sports infrastructure. Reporting to the national service line leader, the successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive market strategy, strengthen client relationships, and elevate the firm's visibility across the industry. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and a passion for mentoring and business development. The position involves active participation in diagnostics and capital planning efforts, representation at national industry events, and engagement with executive-level stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a national diagnostics and capital planning strategy tailored to the chosen market sector
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior executives, facility directors, and capital planning teams
- Represent the firm at conferences, panels, and industry forums to enhance visibility and influence
- Lead market research and analytics to identify emerging trends and inform annual business planning
- Collaborate across engineering and consulting disciplines to deliver integrated solutions
- Mentor junior professionals and business development staff to foster a client-focused culture
- Participate in site assessments and contribute to diagnostics planning and reporting across multiple locations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, business, or a related field; advanced degree such as a master's or MBA preferredMinimum of 10 years of experience in strategic consulting, business development, or capital planning within the AEC industryProven track record of building and sustaining client relationships in healthcare, aviation, or sports sectorsStrong understanding of facility operations, asset management, and lifecycle planningExcellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholdersWillingness to travel nationally for client engagement and industry representationActive involvement in professional organizations such as ASHE, COAA, or similar is encouragedCompensation and Benefits
