Housekeeping Worker I
Provide a safe, sanitary, and attractive environment for patients, staff, and visitors at the Commonwealth Center for Children and Adolescents. This position will provide environmental services on the second shift from 7 : 00 am 3 : 30 pm, 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm, 11 : 30am-8 : 00pm and 2 : 00pm-10 : 30pm with rotating weekends. The housekeeping worker will be mainly stationed at CCCA and work under the supervisor assigned to CCCA.
Knowledge & Skills General knowledge and skills in cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms, dayrooms, floor finishing, and cleaning / operating housekeeping equipment. Abilities Read, write, perform basic math calculations, lift heavy objects, prolonged standing, walking on various surfaces, climb ladders, work on knees and work in various conditions.
High school graduate or equivalent desirable, - Experience in housekeeping preferred - Valid Operator's License desirable
