Job Description
Be the first point of contact for internal for internal and external legal inquiries, ensuring seamless and efficient communications by directing matters to the appropriate legal team membersProvide guidance and support to colleagues on contract-related matters, including updates on contract current statusCoordinate and manage legal intake processes, including logging requests, tracking progress, and ensuring timely responses through multiple channels of communicationProvide administrative support for the day-to-day activities, including budget requests, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate recordsAssist in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal standards and corporate policiesRoute contracts for signatures, collect and save executed contracts in designated shared foldersManage legal databases and files, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessibleCoordinate team meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and documenting key takeawaysAct as a liaison between Legal & Compliance team and other departments to foster collaboration and effective communicationConduct legal research and compiling reports to support decision-making processesProvide assistance with litigation, claims management, and other disputes resolution as neededPerform other duties as assigned or requiredQualifications
At least 1 year of experience in a legal department within the logistics industry or related fieldsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively across all levels of the organizationCustomer-focused mindset with outstanding work ethicsTeam player with the ability to work independentlyProven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailHighly organized and detail-orientedAbility to handle confidential information with discretionSolid understanding of legal terminology, processes, and regulatory requirementsFamiliarity with corporate and commercial agreementsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet search, and contract management platformAdditional Information
