Job Overview
The Sr. Employee Relations Global Disciplinary Review Panel Facilitator's primary responsibility is to administer Global Disciplinary Review Panel meetings. The role requires a strategic professional who is a subject matter expert in the Global Disciplinary Review Policy, and stays abreast of developments in Employee Relations investigations and Employment Law and contributes to the department's directional strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Initiate, plan, convene and facilitate Global Disciplinary Review Panel meetings regarding substantiated investigations by all investigative units, and / or significant events matters, including critical thinking to review and credibly challenge investigation findings, at all levels.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Global Disciplinary Review Panels, the Global Disciplinary Review Policy (GDRP) and related standards and procedures.
- Act as a change agent to both identify and execute enhancements to the disciplinary processes with focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
- Adhere to established, and evolving standards, for detailed, auditable and required documentation.
- Foster strong work relationships and collaboration with key investigative partners (Employment Law, ICRM, CSIS and the Ethics Office) and other stakeholders (HR, business representatives, etc.).
- Track and analyze trends, diagnose root causes, and develop recommendations for corrective strategies.
Qualifications :
At least four years of experience in HR and / or investigative functions or equivalent.Ability to build solid relationships at all levels and influence collaborative outcomes.Demonstrated ability in project management and executing change to increase efficiency.Strong facilitation and investigative experience ideal.Knowledge of employment policies, practices and employment laws and regulations are preferred.Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and across all functional areas, particularly senior levels (including business / function heads).Self-motivated and with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Consistent demonstration of ownership and accountability (driven to "do the right thing").Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented, intense environment, and across multiple time zones.Experience working globally (preferred).
