The Safety Coordinator is a critical role within the Kentucky operations , offering a great opportunity to be part of the team that will establish Team Fishel as a leader in utility construction in the area. The responsibilities of the Safety Coordinator include :

• Conducting safety operation training and updating training programs to improve safety in telecommunications, natural gas, and electrical distribution operations.
• Conducting routine safety visits to enforce policies and identify hazards at various job sites.
• Traveling as needed between Lexington and Louisville locations.
• Overseeing safety supplies inventory.
• Coordinating and conducting classroom and field safety training sessions.
• Maintaining emergency response equipment.
• Investigating reportable accidents, injuries, and damages.
• Creating and presenting monthly safety topics.
• Serving on incident investigation committees as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

Preferred Skills

Bilingual skills are a plus.

Team Fishel provides on-the-job training in safety, including flagging certification and tool operation and maintenance.
