Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Guard in Tar Heel, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic food and beverage production location. Your visible presence and professional demeanor will contribute to a welcoming environment while you assist employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, reflecting our commitment to teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the food and beverage production environment to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and / or site leadership.
  • Support access control procedures for employees, contractors, and visitors as required by site policies.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other critical events as directed by site protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
