Special Education Instructor (MLA Position)

Caseload : 8–9 elementary students

Location : Illinois School District

Assignment : Full-Time, Maternity Leave Coverage

Duration : Mid-September 2025 – January 2026

Our team is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to cover a maternity leave assignment at an elementary school. This temporary, full-time position begins in mid-September 2025 and continues through January 2026, with a primary focus on providing resource support for a small caseload of students.

As the Resource Teacher, you will deliver targeted reading and math instruction designed to meet each student’s IEP goals. You’ll collaborate closely with general education teachers, service providers, and families to ensure continuity of services and consistent support for students. Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor, assess, and document student progress regularly.
