Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join our in-house creative team in Medina, OH. This role is about leading the charge on social—developing strategy, managing content, and growing audiences across platforms. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and storyteller, with a deep understanding of digital culture and a passion for building community. You’ll work closely with content creators, designers, and strategists to shape the voice of our campaigns and drive meaningful engagement.

What You’ll Do

Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, Threads, and LinkedIn.

Manage content calendars, scheduling, and publishing across all channels.

Collaborate with writers, designers, and video editors to produce engaging, on-brand content.

Monitor performance metrics and optimize content based on analytics and audience insights.

Stay on top of trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to keep content fresh and relevant.

Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community interaction.

Coordinate with internal teams and clients to align social strategy with broader campaign goals.

Present performance reports and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands, campaigns, or organizations.

Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and audience behaviors.

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, Later).

Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategy.

Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Passion for digital storytelling, activism, and creative influence.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience working in creative agencies or political / advocacy environments.

Background in marketing, communications, or journalism.

Familiarity with paid social strategy and ad platforms.

Skills in content creation, video editing, or graphic design.

A portfolio or social media presence showcasing your work and voice.
