Overview

Job Title : EV Charger Support Technician

Salary : $90k - $110k

On-Site : Fremont, CA | Zerova Technologies USA

What Youll Do (Day-to-Day)

  • Be the first call that keeps chargers charging : troubleshoot AC / DC EVSE, diagnose faults, and deliver resolutions with precision.
  • Own the case, close the loop : log, track, and resolve issues in Salesforce Service Cloud to meet SLAs.
  • Turn data into answers : analyze OCPP logs, PCAPs, SLAC tests, and network traces to find root causes.
  • Level up the ecosystem : deliver hands-on training to customers, partners, and technicians in Zerova's certification program.
  • Collaborate across teams : work with R&D and third-party SLA partners to drive continuous product improvement.
  • Be field-ready : travel primarily within CA / West Coast, with occasional nationwide assignments.

What You Bring

  • Associates in EE / Electronics or related field (Bachelors or equivalent) hands-on experience.
  • 2+ years in EVSE, power electronics, or field technical support / maintenance.
  • Solid knowledge of :
  • AC / DC power systems : 208 / 480V 3-phase, low-voltage controls
  • Networking : TCP / IP, OCPP, VPNs, cellular connectivity
  • Safety : NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E
  • Proficient with service / ticketing tools (Salesforce Service Cloud).
  • Strong communicator with customers, electricians, and third-party providers.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., work safely in field environments, and follow procedures.
  • Nice-to-have : EVITP, NABCEP, or OEM EVSE certifications (not mandatory).
