Founded from the 2008 Ron Paul Presidential Campaign, Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is the nation's largest pro-liberty youth movement, building a powerful network of activists to transform states into beacons of freedom.

We utilize a 3 step "Build - Elect - Pass" model is driving real change in America's political system :

Build : We are building the largest nationwide movement of committed youth activists on American college campuses. We have chapters established on over 500 campuses and with over 327,000 students on campus. Elect : Mobilize our base of committed youth activists to be the grassroots muscle on campaigns of principled liberty legislators through Operation Win at the Door. Since 2018, we've built a coalition of 400 active legislators in our National Liberty Legislator Coalition. Pass : Use this coalition of principled liberty legislators to pass transformative policy at the state level. This coalition has already passed over 750 liberty bills spanning from Universal School Choice, to Constitutional Carry, to major tax cuts and so much more. Vision

Our vision is to create Liberty Lighthouse States that will Transform Our States into Beacons of Liberty.

To do this, we've set an ambitious goal to raise $150 million over the next five years to make this possible.

We are building a highly skilled Development and Marketing team to achieve this goal – who have already raised $63 million in pursuit of this vision.

We are willing to pay above-market rates for a person with experience, a strong cultural fit, and an unwavering belief in the principles of liberty.

YAL has a confidential detailed plan to achieve our vision of Liberty Lighthouse States as well a detailed plan to raise $150 million by 2030 and how this role will be instrumental to achieving that plan.

YAL's next Director of Mobilization will lead the charge on our world-class door-knocking program , Operation Win at the Door (OWD) . Since 2018, OWD has :

Deployed 4,000+ YAL-trained students on campaigns across the countryHelped win 500+ elections for liberty candidatesContributed to the passage of 1,000+ pro-liberty bills Stopped hundreds of bad bills that would have expanded government

Every year, this program grows in size and impact. We're gearing up for a monumental 2026 , when we plan to mobilize students who will knock on over 3 million doors nationwide.

About the Role

The Director of Mobilization is responsible for ensuring that as many YAL students and activists as possible deploy into the field through Operation Win at the Door whether on short-term blitzes or long-term campaign deployments for either YAL or other pro-liberty third party organizations.

You'll work with partner organizations to identify additional deployment opportunities, manage a team of Recruitment Coordinators who communicate directly with student activists, and collaborate with YAL's Marketing and Development teams to amplify the impact of our activists across the country.

This is a high-energy leadership role for someone who thrives on building teams , driving recruitment , and inspiring massive action among America's youth.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is :

Relentless on the phones and capable of training others to be just as effective Passionate about inspiring student activists and building a culture of actionA strong, ego-free leader who's ready to scale one of the most effective youth mobilization programs in the countryHas prior experience leading teams and managing staff Able to canvass on foot for a full day knocking on doors, must be able to lift 50 pounds

This position reports directly to the Deputy Director of Grassroots . Location : Austin, TX at YAL HQ is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities Identify and mobilize thousands of YAL students into electoral and legislative activism opportunities nationwide each year for both YAL and other pro-liberty organizations. Hire, train, and manage full-time Mobilization staff Drive a high-energy, sales-oriented culture that inspires both activists and staff Expand activism opportunities by working with partner organizations and internal teams on efforts such as phone banks and rallies Document and track performance through Google Sheets and other systems Own the strategy, execution, and results of Operation Win at the Door efforts
