Join a leading civil site contractor in Charleston as a Heavy Equipment Operator and work on a variety of projects in the Savannah, GA area.

Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, track hoes, and excavators to perform civil site work.

Assist with manual labor tasks when not operating equipment, including shoveling, trench work, and loading / unloading supplies.

Be an integral part of the team, contributing to all aspects of the project to ensure its completion.

Maintain reliability and punctuality, and foster a positive attitude as part of the crew.

Submit to mandatory drug testing as part of the employment process.

Minimum of 5 years of experience with heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, and graders.

Experience in fine grading is highly preferred.

Familiarity with GPS technology is advantageous.

Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and potential weekends.

Experience in earthworks, civil site, and utility construction.

Proficient in blueprint reading.

Willingness to engage in general labor tasks as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA, job sites can be anywhere between Brunswick, GA and Beaufort, SC.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00 / hr.
