Network Engineer

Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to step into the lead role following the departure of their most senior network resource. This position is critical to maintaining and evolving the county's network infrastructure, which supports approximately 1,700 users across 12 sites .

The environment is primarily Cisco-based , with Fortinet firewalls , Cisco VoIP , and Meraki wireless access points . Upcoming projects for 2026 include :

• Migration from Meraki to Extreme Networks WAPs
• Network design and installation for a new building
• A switch refresh initiative

Conversion Salary Range : $82,000 - $98,000 annually (based on experience)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
