We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position involves managing payroll processes for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities :

• Process payroll for a large, multi-state employee base, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Handle employee terminations and related payroll adjustments in accordance with company policies.
• Generate comprehensive payroll reports to support financial analysis and audits.
• Collaborate on finance-related projects, such as accounts payable tasks, to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize payroll software, such as ADP Workforce Now or BambooHR, to manage payroll functions efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Provide support during organizational transitions, ensuring payroll continuity and accuracy.
• Uphold confidentiality and security of employee payroll data.
• Proven experience with full-cycle payroll management, including multi-state payroll.
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now or BambooHR.
• Ability to process payroll for large employee groups, ideally over 500 individuals.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle part-time responsibilities effectively.
• Proficiency in generating and interpreting payroll reports.
• Experience handling payroll adjustments, including terminations.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all payroll-related tasks.
