What We Do
Woodcraft Rangers provides TK-12 expanded learning programs, including before and after school, specialty enrichment and summer learning. The organization has expanded its services to include early learning, environmental and social justice, college access, and inclusion services for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Lifecraft is a college and career advancement program supporting approximately 1,000 staff. Woodcraft Rangers serves more than 20,000 youth ages 4-18 annually in and from 110+ Title I schools across LA County.
Job Summary
A Site Coordinator is responsible for the overall logistics of the after school program at a site. They serve as the liaison of the program's needs and information to parents, community members, school administration, and staff. They inspire and coordinate daily program schedules while ensuring a safe, fun, and positive environment for participants and staff. They oversee the daily program's operations, ensure staff are equipped to run a successful after school program, supervise assistant site coordinators, community liaisons, and club leaders who supervise 10-20 program participants daily, and manage staff schedules and daily enrichment offerings.
The Site Coordinator position is on-site, including attending training at the Woodcraft Rangers main office in Little Tokyo and at school sites.
