Position : Third Shift Warehouse Lead

Location : Chicago, IL 60617

Schedule : Wednesday – Saturday | 3 : 30 PM – 2 : 00 AM

Pay Rate : $20 – $22 / hour

Overview :

We're looking for a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Lead to join our third shift team. In this role, you’ll take charge of daily warehouse operations while mentoring team members, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities :

Lead and assist in warehouse activities : inventory, picking, staging, tagging, and receiving

Operate forklifts and other equipment to load / unload and move materials

Maintain accurate records using warehouse computer systems

Organize materials including pallets, boxes, and supplies for efficient space utilization

Verify shipments and documentation for accuracy (tickets, manifests, invoices, etc.)

Follow and enforce all safety procedures and operational protocols

Train, mentor, and support team members to foster a safe and collaborative environment

Help track and improve team performance against productivity goals and labor standards

Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse that supports smooth daily operations

Qualifications :

Previous warehouse experience required; prior leadership experience a plus

Certified or experienced in forklift operation (required)

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Dependable, with a consistent attendance record

Comfortable using computers and performing basic math tasks

Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours to support a 24 / 7 operation

Physical Requirements :

Repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Push / pull loads up to 250 lbs

Frequently bend, squat, kneel, and reach (including overhead)

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
