Description

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Designer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role involves creating innovative designs for paper-based product displays in retail settings, leveraging industrial design expertise and specialized software tools. The ideal candidate will bring creativity and technical proficiency to deliver high-quality solutions that align with manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities :

Develop and execute design concepts for paper-based product displays tailored for retail environments.

Utilize ArtiosCAD software to create detailed and accurate structural designs.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet production standards and specifications.

Apply industrial design principles to enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of product displays.

Integrate Adobe Creative Cloud tools to refine and visually enhance design projects.

Conduct thorough evaluations of prototypes to ensure optimal performance and alignment with client requirements.

Maintain documentation and design files for seamless communication and future reference.

Research and implement industry trends to ensure innovative and competitive design solutions.

Requirements

Proficiency in ArtiosCAD software for structural design projects.

Demonstrated experience in designing paper-based displays for retail applications.

Strong background in industrial design with a focus on manufacturing processes.

Skilled in using Adobe Creative Cloud applications for design enhancement.

Ability to create detailed and accurate design documentation.

Familiarity with prototyping and testing methodologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Knowledge of current trends in retail display design and manufacturing.
