Here's what you'd do :

• Serves as a specialist in a group of technologies and services supported within technology.
• Work closely with Technology management, senior Engineers, and support teams regularly to implement and manage the design, development, and execution of technical solutions that meet or exceed the organisation's current and future needs.
• Responsibilities include infrastructure architecture and design, research and development of new or expanded systems, creation of technology standards and policies, thorough analysis of user requirements and operational constraints, unit testing and system integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Interact regularly and independently with business partners of varying associate and management levels to clarify the problem / opportunity and elicit business requirements.
• Coordinate vendor interactions and vendor resources as needed.
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators.
• Review documentation, proposals, and changes proposed by less experienced staff.
• Seek continuously expanding knowledge and understanding of Financial Services trends, practices, and technologies.
• Follow and promote industry best practices, standards and procedures.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of vendor technologies and services the client uses.
• Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls per its Risk Appetite.
• Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client's brand.
• Maintain client internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points and any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
• The client seeks an experienced OpenShift / Kubernetes Engineer to join a team managing and maintaining the client's container platform.
• A large part of this role will be playing with the latest and greatest technologies and recommending how to take advantage of them.
• Create and deploy custom pipelines to automate the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the client OpenShift clusters.
• Participate in reviewing new cluster configurations and pipelines to ensure they achieve their intended results in a non-disruptive manner.
• Identify, recommend, and implement upgrades and enhancements to maintain system functionality and optimal performance.
• Lead efforts in infrastructure automation and continuous deployment utilising a CI / CD pipeline in a private virtualised environment.
• Document any new services or infrastructure being deployed and ensure that current documentation remains accurate and follows best practices.
• Work closely with Technology management, senior Engineers, and support teams regularly to implement and manage the design, development, and execution of technical solutions that meet or exceed the organisation's current and future needs.
• Responsibilities include infrastructure architecture and design, research, and development of new or expanded systems, creation of technology standards and policies, thorough analysis of user requirements and operational constraints, unit testing and system integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to engineers, technicians, and integrators.
• Maintain aptitude and working knowledge of client applications, systems, development environments, and vendor technologies.
• Seek continuously expanding knowledge and understanding of Financial Services trends, practices, and technologies.
• Coordinate vendor interactions and support tickets when needed.
• Follow and promote industry best practices, standards, and procedures.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

What you'll get

Pay : $53.20 - $88.65

/ hr.

Hours : 40 hrs / Week.

Length : Temp (12 months).
