Position : Account Executive IT Staffing (Mid-Market & Federal Focus)
Location : Baltimore, MD
We are seeking driven and competitive Account Executives to join our IT staffing team in Baltimore, MD. This is an exciting opportunity for sales professionals who thrive on building relationships, breaking into new accounts, and driving revenue in a fast-paced staffing environment. We are hiring for both Mid-Market and Federal-focused roles.
Please note that you MUST have previous experience in IT Staffing Sales within a Temporary Division of a recruiting agency to be considered for this position.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on winning new IT staffing clients across the mid-market and federal sectors.
- Prospect, cold call, and network to break into target accounts. This is a true hunter role with minimal warm leads provided.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of clients, maintaining consistent activity and follow-up to grow business.
- Partner with recruiters to deliver top IT talent that meets client needs, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Maintain strong knowledge of IT staffing market trends, competition, and client requirements to strategically position offerings.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals, measured in gross margin and weekly spread.
What Were Looking For
Experience : Minimum 1+ years of proven success in IT staffing sales. Candidates must have experience generating at least $500K annual gross margin OR $10K in weekly spread within an IT staffing agency.Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of IT staffing and consulting models. Candidates with only permanent placement experience are typically not the right fit.Sales Mindset : Proven success as a hunter. You are comfortable with high activity, cold outreach, and account breaking. Ability to independently build a book of business from the ground up.Personality Traits : Competitive, money-motivated, resilient, and persistent.
