Key Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel on employment law, contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and vendor contracts
Support internal investigations and advise on risk mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Collaborate with HR, finance, and operations teams on legal issues
Assist with litigation management and coordination with external counsel
Monitor changes in legislation and assess impact on company policies
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Illinois
3+ years of experience in a corporate legal environment or law firm
Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of employment law, contract law, and regulatory compliance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Pay Details : $70,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
