• Supportive Work Environment What You’ll Do : As a Diesel Mechanic at GMCO, you’ll be an essential part of keeping our fleet running smoothly and safely. Diagnose and repair various vehicle components to ensure optimal performance. Perform preventative maintenance, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and filter replacements. Use precision instruments, shop machines, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and fix mechanical issues. Read and interpret service manuals, bulletins, and technical publications. Maintain accurate service records for compliance with state and federal regulations. Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and GMCO standards. Provide detailed documentation of work performed. What We’re Looking For : Experience : 3+ years as a mechanic (5 years preferred). Tools : Must have your own basic hand tools. License : CDL Class A or B preferred. Technical Skills : Ability to operate diagnostic tools, computers, and software. Knowledge : Strong understanding of DOT, federal, and state maintenance regulations. Work Ethic : Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and punctual.
