Vision Centric, Inc. is seeking a Financial Management Analyst to provide support to a government agency. This position will play a critical role in assisting senior-level financial and program management staff with accounting, budgeting, data analysis, and administrative functions to ensure operational efficiency and financial integrity across programs. FULL-TIME, OnSite Position
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, track, and monitor accounting functions in the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS).
- Support a range of budgetary and analytical tasks, including invoice review, financial reconciliations, SWA (Security Work Authorizations) tracking, and reporting.
- Perform data entry, analysis, and report generation using Excel, Access, and FFMS-generated reports (e.g., FM151, CM040, PM020).
- Assist with accounts payable / receivable, obligation management, and contract closeouts.
- Verify invoice accuracy and support compliance within invoicing procedures.
- Create, maintain, and reconcile financial reports, including post spreadsheets for large-scale security contracts.
- Update manuals, maintain official files, and assist with special projects and presentations.
- Provide administrative and automation support using Microsoft Office tools and specific platforms.
- Support travel documentation processing and financial tracking in systems such as Concur.
- Draft technical and statistical documents, reports, and financial justifications.
Required Qualifications
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Proficiency in FFMS or similar federal financial systems preferred.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.Ability to analyze financial and accounting data, reconcile discrepancies, and generate actionable reports.Familiarity with federal contract management, procurement, and invoice processing standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate technical information clearly to all levels of staff.Experience in supporting federal law enforcement or security programs is a plus.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.Preferred Experience
Prior experience working in a federal agency environment.Familiarity with Concur, Webview, and Revenue Management Systems.Knowledge of federal security contracting and PSO (Protective Security Officer) programs.Benefits
