Responsibilities :

• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries are recorded properly.
• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform account reconciliations and identify discrepancies for resolution.
• Manage bank reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy and timely reporting.
• Collaborate with clients to provide tailored financial insights and recommendations.
• Support tax return preparation for various entity types, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Utilize and embrace technology tools to enhance efficiency and streamline accounting processes.
• Mentor and guide team members in their growth journey.
• Contribute to the success of small businesses by offering innovative solutions to their financial challenges.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting is preferred.
• CPA or EA designation is strongly desired, or a willingness to pursue one.
• Proficiency in preparing tax returns for multiple entity types.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly adapt to new accounting tools.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• High level of organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
