Staff Accountant

Compensation : $65,000 - $85,000 base

Key Responsibilities of the Accountant :

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for a portfolio of 10-12 properties.

Conduct accurate bank and account reconciliations.

Supply financial data to auditors, tax consultants, lenders, property managers, and stakeholders.

Assist in annual budget preparation, recovery processes, 1099 filings, and sales tax reporting.

Handle annual property tax payments and support tax return preparation, including K-1 distributions to partners.

Aid in preparing construction draws and other special projects as assigned by the Controller.

Qualifications of the Accountant :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited university. CPA license is a plus but not required.

Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Yardi is preferred.

1-3 years of accounting experience, with specific expertise in commercial real estate accounting required.
