CEIS | Government is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to support quality assurance efforts across complex federal infrastructure and construction projects. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with 3-7 years of experience who is ready to build deep technical expertise in a high-impact environment.
The QCE will contribute to quality control efforts in both field and office settings, helping ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and construction protocols. This position offers mentorship, exposure to mission-critical work, and a strong development path toward senior quality leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining the Project Quality Process Log (QPL) and provide recommendations and observations.
- Support corrective actions for non-conforming work under the supervision of the QC Manager and Superintendent.
- Interpret drawings, codes, and specifications; contribute to the development and tracking of RFIs.
- Coordinate inspection and testing schedules with subcontractors and support tracking of completion status.
- Participate in site punch walks and manage documentation related to pre-final and final punch list items.
- Assist in auditing subcontractor QC programs and support continuous improvement and lessons-learned processes.
Required Qualifications
