Control Systems Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated Control Systems Engineer for our Albuquerque, NM office. The selected candidate will lead and manage projects involving PLC programming, HMI / SCADA programming, control panel design, and provide commissioning services. You will work closely with both our innovative team and our diverse client base, ensuring the delivery of high-quality control systems solutions tailored to client needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Project execution including task identification, prioritization, and scheduling while maintaining personal accountability for deliverables.
- Early identification of problems and effective conflict resolution.
- Function under the guidance of experienced engineers to gain more professional depth.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project execution processes.
- Regular and direct interaction with clients ensuring excellent service and understanding of their needs.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulations and codes.
- Technical writing for clear project definition, requirements documentation, and customer correspondence.
- Engineering design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions in various control system projects.
- Support in factory / site acceptance testing, user acceptance testing, and client training programs.
- Manage and update project documentation effectively to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Minimum Position Qualifications :
BA / BS degree in engineering or a closely related discipline. Candidates with a technical degree and relevant experience may also be considered.At least 3 years of experience in process control, manufacturing, or information services domains.Solid experience with PLC, DCS, and SCADA / HMI design, development, and deployment.Exceptional leadership capabilities and superior client relationship management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and experience with SharePoint preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills.A valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.Preferred Qualifications :
Diverse process knowledge in industries like Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Water & Wastewater.Experience with Schneider Unity and Allen Bradley ControlLogix programming. PlantPAx experience is a plus.SCADA / HMI expertise, particularly with ICONICS or Wonderware.Proven track record in checkout, testing, startup, and commissioning phases.Skills :
